System Maintenance

We want you to have the best possible experience using Sakai for research, committees, teaching and learning.  In order to achieve this goal,  we will occasionally need to take the system off-line to fine-tune settings and add new enhancements.

In preparation for such improvements and health checks, please note that our planned maintenance windows are:
 

THURSDAY MORNINGS 5 AM - 7 AM

This means that if we need to perform maintenance tasks, they will be announced as soon as possible in advance and work will be done during these time periods. Look for the announcement on the UNC Sakai Homepage.

• As a general rule, planned maintenance activities requiring more than 2 hours of downtime will be scheduled between 6 am Saturday to 6 am on Sunday and announced in advance.

We will make every effort to minimize the impact and inconvenience that planned maintenance may cause.  Please note that these maintenance windows are subject to change if critical issues arise. We will announce as early as possible to notify the campus of any maintenance outages. Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and support.
